About Us

Lofty Thoughts Clothing was an idea I conceived many years ago because I couldn’t find high-quality, unique, inspirational, fashionable, and creative garments all in one place. I might find a garment with a cool design and message but the quality was poor and it wasn’t comfortable. Or I would find a garment that was high-quality and comfortable but all it had was the name of the brand on it. Because of this, I thought I might not be alone in this, so the idea came to me to turn it into a business. I was in a totally different industry for 10+ years but one day I didn’t want to regret not going after my dream, so that’s what I did. I learned the fashion industry and am always learning more to bring the best possible products to the world. My biggest litmus test is - when I see this garment do I get excited and want it as soon as possible. So all of our products are garments that excite me and I wear constantly. I started years ago gaining knowledge, thinking of different ideas, and being excited about the possibility of this dream becoming a reality one day. Well, that day is today. I hope you feel the same about what we sell and it produces that same feeling in you that it does in me when I see each garment. I thank you checking out our collection and I hope you will be a future customer and gain the inner-confidence that I am trying to produce from our garments.

Much Love,

What Makes Lofty Thought’s Garments Unique?

The “Brand Vision” section on our Home Page gives a more philosophical description of who we are, but what about our physical garments themselves? Well, here’s a few points we think are important for you to know:

  • All of our fabric used is 100% Organic, which is more expensive and harder to find.

  • We use ribbing on our cuffs, collar and waist. Which may not seem significant but the elasticity stops or at least drastically slows the stretching out in these areas. To us, the most important of these is the collar. When your collar starts to wrinkle and “bacon-neck” is makes the garment look old and low quality. This was an important point for us and so we needed to use a different, more costly fabric and add steps and extra seams to the production process to prevent this.

  • All of our ‘Top Shelf’ products are made in the US at a sustainable facility where employees are paid fairly with great working conditions. We are currently looking for a similar type factory in Europe.
